Blooms recommends the following steps in caring for your newly arrived arrangement:

- Check the level of the water in the vase daily and change after several days.
- The flowers in the arrangement should be trimmed about a finger nail every five to six days.
- Adding white granulated sugar to the vase water will give flowers nutrients.
- Most important the flowers need your tender loving care.
